Job: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Belfast – hybrid (1 day a week in office)

Salary £55,000 - £65,000 plus bonus

Applicants need to be based in Northern Ireland – no visa support is offered.

Jobs: Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll operate across the full stack, building modern, scalable systems that power real-world industrial operations within a great team dynamic.

You will:

• Design and build robust backend services in Node.js and Java
• Develop responsive, high-performance front-end applications using Angular
• Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and event-driven services
• Work closely with product, UX, automation and hardware teams
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing practices and engineering standards
• Mentor other engineers and help raise the technical bar

You’ll have genuine ownership - not just delivery responsibility

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Angular (or modern frontend frameworks)
• Solid backend development experience with Node.js and/or Java
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices or distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure or similar)
• A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
