Role Overview

Seeking a senior Network Engineer to support a contact center cloud transformation, migrating from on-prem Avaya to Cisco WebEx/Genesys CCaaS. This role will lead network and telecom (SIP) design, validate cloud connectivity, support PoC activities, and drive migration planning in a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and validate network solutions between CCaaS platforms, contact centers, and remote agents
• Design and validate call routing for SIP trunks, on-prem PBX, and Cisco WebEx cloud
• Build and support lab environments for proof of concept
• Contribute to migration planning, methodology, and execution for CCaaS transformation
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Maintain inventory, documentation, and design artifacts (HLD/HDD/SDD)
• Present solutions for architecture review and obtain approvals
• Collaborate across teams to deliver within tight timelines

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Network Engineer in large enterprise environments
• 5+ years hands-on experience with SIP, call routing, dial plans, Telco SIP trunking (BYOC), Oracle SBC/ECB
• 3+ years experience with CCaaS cloud connectivity (MPLS, SD-WAN, WebRTC, QoS; Azure/AWS familiarity)
• 3+ years leading Avaya Contact Center to CCaaS migrations at scale (1000+ agents, multi-region)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Post-secondary degree in a technical field (required)

Nice to Have

• Scripting/automation for provisioning, monitoring, RCA, and reporting
• Business case development and cost/benefit analysis experience
• CCNP and/or Cisco WebEx/Genesys cloud certifications
