Senior Data Scientist

🌍✨ We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our client’s technology leadership team in İstanbul. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing scalable data infrastructure, developing advanced analytical and predictive models, and driving data-driven decision-making across operational processes in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to identify analytical and data requirements.
• Design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines and data warehouse architectures.
• Collect, clean, and transform data from production and operational systems.
• Develop and deploy machine learning and predictive models for production efficiency, failure prediction, and quality control.
• Conduct statistical analyses and interpret results to support business decisions.
• Evaluate model performance, improve accuracy, and deploy models into production environments.
• Implement data quality, governance, and security standards across the data infrastructure.
• Manage big data processing using tools such as Spark, Hadoop, and related technologies.
• Develop API and data integration solutions to ensure seamless access to data.
• Document processes and share knowledge to support team competency development.
• Visualize analytical insights and integrate them into decision-making processes.
• Contribute to strategic data initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in data science and data engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data warehouse architectures.
• Strong knowledge of ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with big data processing tools and storage formats (Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, Parquet, QVD).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
