Scrum Master - Freelance - Italy

Location: Emilia-Romagna, Italy (Hybrid)

Shakers is partnering with a structured client in the Financial Services sector to hire a Scrum Master for a 6–12 month freelance engagement.

You will support Agile teams delivering digital initiatives within a regulated, enterprise environment. This role requires hands-on facilitation, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to foster Agile maturity beyond process compliance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective)
• Remove impediments and manage cross-team dependencies
• Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders
• Promote continuous improvement and delivery focus
• Support Agile culture within a structured corporate context

Requirements

• Proven experience as Scrum Master in Agile environments
• Strong knowledge of Scrum framework
• Experience in Financial Services / regulated environments (highly valued)
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
• Good level of English
