Initial 6 months contract(Possibility of extension)

Purpose of the role - How it adds value

As an AS400 Developer you will be in charge of the full SDLC of this companies applications, you must have end to end experience and the ability to liaise team members in order to meet deadlines for clients. You must have experience with building strong robust applications.

Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured

• Ability to assess and analyse system requirements and improvement opportunities
• Liaise with the Development Manager to ensure all developed solutions are delivered effectively.
• Display excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Delivery of Robust and high quality software solutions

Skills & Experience:

Required

• Minimum 5 years RPG experience
• RPG Development on AS400/iSeries
• ILE/Free Format
• AS400 SQL
• Writing Technical Specifications
• Strong people skills

Desired

• Knowledge of the financial industry is an advantage.
