We are currently seeking a “Data Scientist ” to join our team at the Istanbul headquarters of Howden.

Job Requirements:

• Graduates of university departments of Industrial or Computer Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
• Proven experience in insurance, finance or related sector.
• Project management and strong prosess improvement mindset
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, experimentation design, causal inference, and predictive modeling.
• Knowledge of Python / R and data modeling + experience in AI / ML, service connection skills with IT teams
• Strategic thinker who can translate business goals into actionable data projects.
• Passionate about delivering efficient processes, doing process mapping and mining.
• Professional competence in English language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business problems with an analytical mindset and develop solution approaches
• Design and train models for Generative AI, Machine Learning, or Predictive Analytics using image, text, or tabular data
• Ensure the execution of end-to-end data flow
• Find automation gaps via RPA, Agentic AI
• Ensure model sustainability by performing accuracy, bias, and drift analyses; prepare models for deployment via APIs or container-based architectures
• Share and interpret model outputs with business stakeholders
• Extract, analyze, and validate data using SQL
• Act as Data Champion in related activities and global setup
• Create documentation for developed models
