RecoTek is Reconomy’s new centralized technology hub located in Bucharest, Romania, officially launched in February 2024. Serving as the backbone of Reconomy’s tech operations, it consolidates inhouse expertise across all Reconomy brands to accelerate platform development and enhance service delivery.

About this role
As a UX Designer, you will shape intuitive, user-centred digital experiences across Reconomy’s suite of brand websites. You will help establish a consistent visual language across our brands while ensuring accessibility, usability, and performance remain at the heart of every design decision.
Working closely with the Digital Product Owner, developers, CRO specialists, and central & divisional marketing teams, you will turn insights, data, and user needs into meaningful digital experiences that drive engagement and conversion.

- Recycle loop is utilising the latest technology and data to enable customers to make the best possible use of their materials.
- Comply loop is enabling customers to solve increasingly complex environmental regulatory challenges using data, expert knowledge and thought leadership to drive business accountability across the globe.
- Re-use loop is providing intelligent technology platforms and agile delivery models for pre-retail logistics and product returns, fulfilment and processing, on behalf of many of Europe’s largest retailers.
About this role

What We Need From You
What you’ll do
- Design intuitive UX/UI solutions for Reconomy’s multi-brand digital ecosystem
- Translate business and user requirements into elegant, user-centred designs
- Apply UX best practices and challenge solutions constructively
- Contribute to and evolve UX guidelines, UI toolkits, and design systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate design changes and impacts
- Use data, insights, and user research to inform and iterate on designs
- Partner with CRO specialists to proactively identify and implement improvements
- Advocate for inclusive and accessible design, supporting accessibility standards and legislation
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a portfolio showcasing your process and outcomes
- Strong knowledge of user-centred design principles and methodologies
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive digital experiences
- Ability to use data and insights to guide design decisions
- Hands-on experience with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with collaboration and workflow tools (Jira, Notion, Monday)
- Experience planning and running user research
- Familiarity with user insight tools (e.g. Hotjar or similar)
- Degree in a relevant field (HCI, Design, Digital Media)
- Strong UX/UI expertise with a user-first mindset and solid portfolio
- Proven ability to design accessible, data-informed digital experiences at scale
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
