This role is with a leading Global Hedge Fund and their are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer/ Devops Engineer to join and support their team in Singapore. This role will be responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues for the Singapore business.
Responsibilities:
- Experience working on the reliability of trading systems
- Trade Support/ Trade ops related to trading systems
- Able to read C++ code, not needed to write a lot of C++
Preferred Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for solving problems
- Strong background in computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems
- Fully proficient in at least one modern structured programming language (C++/ Python preferred)
- Comfortable with a range of current software development tools and practices (testing, source control, build systems, CI/CD, etc.)
- SQL and database experience is a strong plus
