Position: AI Engineer

Location: Lisbon (hybrid/remote)

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced AI solutions that address complex business challenges. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI, building and validating PoCs using machine learning, deep learning, and LLMs (e.g., GPT), and transforming successful concepts into scalable MVPs and production-ready applications. Responsibilities include optimizing and fine-tuning models, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability, integrating AI capabilities into products, documenting processes and outcomes, staying current with industry advancements, and providing technical guidance to junior team members while driving innovation and delivering measurable business value.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field;
• Proven experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a similar role;
• Solid knowledge of LLMs, machine learning and deep learning techniques, algorithms, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, LangChain);
• Proficiency in Python and Java, with experience using data manipulation, analysis, and visualization libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, Matplotlib);
• Experience with big data and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus;
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI/ML services;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
