Senior Data Analyst (Python, PySpark)

Remote / Amsterdam (Hybrid Working – 2 days per week from the client’s office)

6-month contract

€85 - €105 per hour – based on a 40-hour working week

Digital Skills are partnering with a global technology business to hire a Senior Data Analyst to drive high-impact analytics across product and business teams.

This role sits at the intersection of data, product and decision-making. You’ll work autonomously to turn complex datasets into clear insights, influence business direction, and help shape scalable analytics solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead end-to-end analytics initiatives, from problem definition through to delivery
• Analyse large, complex datasets using Python and PySpark to support product and business decisions
• Design and evaluate experiments (A/B tests, holdouts) to measure impact
• Build clear, actionable data stories and visualisations for non-technical stakeholders
• Partner closely with product, engineering and data teams
• Ensure high standards of data quality, scalability and reproducibility
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practices across the team

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with Python (pandas, numpy, statistical libraries) and PySpark
• Solid SQL skills and experience with analytics platforms and dashboards
• Strong statistical foundation (hypothesis testing, regression, confidence intervals)
• Hands-on experience with experimentation and impact measurement
• Understanding of causal inference concepts (e.g. bias, confounding, DiD, CUPED)
• Experience working with large datasets in data warehouses
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working independently in cross-functional environments
