React Java Fullstack Developer

Contract Role – React Java Full Stack Developer – Dublin – 12 months

We are seeking a Mid-Level and Senior Software Engineer with strong React UI development experience and deep expertise in Java Spring Boot API development.

Role Overview:

• Job Title: React Java Full Stack Developer
• Location: Dublin
• Contract Type: 12 months
• Sector: Healthcare.

This role focuses on designing and building scalable, cloud‑native applications with modern frontend experiences and robust backend services, running in Azure and integrating with event‑driven and data platforms.

You will work closely with architects, product managers, and other senior engineers to deliver high‑quality, secure, and maintainable solutions while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical direction.

Primary Responsibilities:

Frontend (React)

• Design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Build reusable UI components and patterns aligned with design systems
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility
• Collaborate closely with UX/design and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences

Backend (Java / Spring Boot)

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement secure, scalable microservices with strong API contracts
• Apply best practices for exception handling, validation, logging, and observability
• Write high‑quality unit, integration, and contract tests

Cloud, Eventing & Data

• Develop and deploy services in Microsoft Azure
• Integrate event‑driven components using Event Hubs and/or Kafka
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on integrations involving Databricks/ADSL/Snowflake
• Contribute to cloud architecture decisions around scalability, resiliency, and cost efficiency

Experience & Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proven experience delivering production‑grade React and Spring Boot applications
• Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
