The position

As a DevOps Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the observability platform (alerting, logging, metrics) used across the organization.
• Triage and resolve support requests related to metrics, logs, and alerting.
• Contribute to design discussions and help shape the future of observability tooling.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and communicate impacts.
• Manage and prioritize the existing upgrade backlog.
• Understand customer impact and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Work with and refine deployment pipelines.
• Merge upgrade requests and monitor builds/deployments.
• Conduct regression testing before and after deployment.
• Promote updates to production environments.
• Monitor overall system stability following changes.
• Participate in major infrastructure updates as needed.

What you bring to the position

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud providers.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Kubernetes.
• Solid background in Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with:
• ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Grafana
• Prometheus
