The position

As a Frontend Developer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

You possess deep expertise in Angular and TypeScript to join our agile development team in Amsterdam. In this hands-on role, you will design and build scalable, high-performance frontend architectures while contributing to a modern, cloud-native development environment.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript
• Architect scalable and maintainable component-based systems
• Create high-quality, reusable UI components supported by robust unit tests
• Collaborate with backend and DevOps engineers as part of a full-stack team
• Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality practices
• Optimize application performance and ensure best-in-class user experience
• Work within an agile team structure, participating in planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Troubleshoot issues across environments and contribute to continuous improvement of the development workflow

What you bring to the position

• Expert-level proficiency in Angular and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of software design patterns
• Proven experience with Kubernetes in a development or deployment workflow
• Experience with Node.js (nice-to-have)
• Hands-on experience with modern tools and technologies:
• NX, ESLint, Prettier, Grafana
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
• GitHub, Docker, and similar dev tools
• Skilled in performance optimization for modern web applications
• Full-stack understanding, with a strong focus on frontend work
