Junior Frontend Engineer

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Junior Frontend Developer for a permanent role at a start-up Fintech client of ours located in Vancouver. This is a fully remote role where you will be collaboratively working with the core development team on varius projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop web applications using React, TypeScript, Redux, styled-components, and Jest to deliver a seamless user experience on the platform.
• Design and implement interactive, data-driven dashboards that provide clients with intuitive insights and real-time data visualization.
• Build responsive, high-performance, and accessible applications that work seamlessly across devices, ensuring all users have a positive experience.
• Champion great UX practices across the company, advocating for user-centered design principles and continuous improvement in usability.
• Innovate and propose solutions to continually enhance client experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years' experience in web development using React to build sophisticated, dynamic applications.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs for seamless data exchange and functionality enhancement within the platform.
• Experience within the financial services/wealth management industry is a plus.
