Job Title: Sustainability Engineer / Specialist

Location: Qatar - Office (Full-Time On-Site) 3 years

Job Summary

The Sustainability Engineer/Specialist will serve as the on-site focal point at X, supporting the implementation of ESG and sustainability reporting activities. The role focuses on operational coordination, data collection, and technical support to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality sustainability disclosures.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with x departments to collect, verify, and consolidate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data.
• Support the tracking and monitoring of sustainability KPIs and contribute to maintaining ESG performance dashboards.
• Assist in providing operational data required for GHG emissions calculations (Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3).
• Facilitate internal meetings, workshops, and communication between x teams and the consulting team.
• Support the preparation of technical inputs for annual ESG and Sustainability Reports.
• Ensure data accuracy, documentation, and alignment with international sustainability reporting standards (e.g., GRI, TCFD).
• Act as the day-to-day coordination link between x departments and the project team.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Energy, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, environmental data management, or utility/infrastructure sectors.
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and standards (GRI, GHG Protocol, ESG KPIs).
• Strong coordination, communication, and data management skills.
