About the job Squad Scrum Master Consultant

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Squad Scrum Master within the IT Production Security domain. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and our values to every engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Scrum Master for the IT Continuity squad, supported by the Product Owner and squad members, to understand the main activities within the Cluster Resilience and Cyber Resiliency squad.
  • Develop and maintain security solutions, including framework, architecture, methods, tooling, organization, and processes, with a structural approach for roll-out, delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide business security services by managing and maintaining security solutions, aligning with evolving user needs, providing operational service related to IT Security Infrastructure, and performing day-to-day activities for incident, change, and release management.
  • Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of security management services by defining KPIs, controlling activities and objectives, implementing control activities, monitoring trends and deviations, and identifying opportunities for improvement in access management services.
  • Support stakeholders in security communication, coordination, and cooperation. Facilitate continuous improvement and reinforce scrum/agile practices within the team.
  • Take delivery ownership for fraud backlog items, ensuring collaboration within and across tribes, squads, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the Community of Practice (COP) of Scrum Masters to share experiences and best practices.
  • Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings.
  • Schedule and follow key steps of the methodology, guarantee smooth use of Scrum, and help Security Squads overcome obstacles and promote self-organization.
  • Support Product Owners with the Security Product Backlog, facilitate healthy team dynamics, and ensure respect for priorities and scope.
  • Organize coordination and collaboration within the cluster/tribe and with stakeholders, manage deliverables, and monitor interdependencies for product delivery.
  • Assist squads in delivering the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, and track team capacity and velocity metrics.
  • Contribute to identifying and resolving structural problems through the squad Continuous Improvement Roadmap.

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
  • Bachelor or Master degree (or equivalent by experience).
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Mandatory technical experience: knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g. Jira), understanding of automated unit/functional testing and continuous integration tooling, sound knowledge of software development and project management methodologies, and experience in IT Security (IAM, Resiliency, or Cyber Defense domains).
  • Mandatory business experience: expert knowledge of agile methodology and techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
  • Preferable: professional experience in Financial Services.
  • Soft skills: quick self-starter, proactive, resilient, strong communication and influencing skills, analytical and synthesis skills, autonomy, commitment, perseverance, ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, strictness in project follow-up, hands-on and delivery-oriented.
  • Agile teams are cross-functional; all required disciplines are represented, and team members are expected to contribute beyond their primary roles to achieve sprint goals.
