Avaloq Developer

We are partnered with an established financial institution to hire an experienced Avaloq Developer to join their technology team in Singapore. This is a hands-on role focused on the core banking platform. You will play a key role in delivering enhancements and new capabilities on the Avaloq suite. You will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.

Role responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions within the Avaloq Core Banking platform

• Build and enhance functionality across Avaloq modules with a strong focus on compliance and regulatory systems

• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL scripts and Oracle database components

• Implement Avaloq parameterization and configuration to meet business requirements

• Work closely with business analysts to understand requirements and deliver technical designs

• Support system integration, testing, and deployment activities

• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in system upgrades and enhancements

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and platform stability

Technical environment

• Avaloq Core Banking Platform

• Compliance and regulatory modules within the Avaloq suite

• Oracle database technology

• PL/SQL development

• Integration with surrounding banking systems

Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience working with Avaloq tools and solutions

• Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL development

• Solid expertise with Oracle databases

• Proven experience in Avaloq scripting and configuration

• Good understanding of core banking processes and compliance systems

• Ability to liaise effectively with business analysts and business users

• Experience working in structured SDLC environments

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• Experience in private banking or wealth management environments

• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD in an Avaloq context

• Avaloq certification or formal Avaloq training
