Introduction

Our client is looking for an experienced professional able to take on a dual role as Project Manager and Scrum Master. You will operate in a complex Agile environment, contributing to the delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of IT solutions.

Responsibilities

As Project Manager

• Manage and monitor minor changes and technical debt within a complex Agile environment
• Take ownership of a budget of approximately €2 million
• Define, establish, and monitor project planning
• Align scope, priorities, and deliverables with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and Scrum Masters
• Ensure transparent reporting and clear progress tracking

As Scrum Master

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Support the Release Train Engineer
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile organization
• Promote Agile values and a hands-on mindset

Experience & Competences

Must-have

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure or development projects (senior level)
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master (medior level)
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, or equivalent)
• Native or near-native Dutch (CEFR level C2)
• Proven experience with project management techniques and tools (risk management, issue tracking, reporting)
• Hands-on mentality with a strong affinity for Agile ways of working

Should-have

• Experience with Clarity
• Experience with Jira
• Experience in stakeholder management within a SAFe or similar scaled Agile environment (minimum 3 years – medior level)
• Knowledge of ITIL
• Practical experience with MS Project
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
