Scrum Master

We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master (SFIA Level 4) to play a key role in driving agile delivery across complex, large-scale initiatives.

This is a great opportunity to influence ways of working, coach teams and leaders, and support meaningful transformation within a scaled agile environment.

You’ll act as a trusted agile coach, helping teams adopt best-practice agile methods while working closely with stakeholders across government and delivery partners to achieve high-quality outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

• Coach, mentor and educate teams and stakeholders on agile principles, practices, tools and ceremonies
• Provide leadership and training aligned to Scaled Agile (SAFe) and Health-aligned agile frameworks
• Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies, ensuring effective outcomes and continuous improvement
• Design and implement agile operating models tailored to local context and delivery needs
• Identify, analyse and manage risks, issues and opportunities, driving change strategies and monitoring outcomes
• Support delivery within a DevOps environment, contributing to large transformation programs
• Build and maintain strong relationships across stakeholders, government agencies and industry partners
• Resolve complex delivery issues using sound judgement and professional experience
• Negotiate deliverables, workflows and support models to ensure business outcomes are met

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Scrum Master
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification (mandatory)
• SAFe 5 SPC certification (highly regarded)
• Experience working within DevOps and large-scale transformation programs
• Exposure to Whole-of-Government frameworks
• Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to lead change and foster a culture of continuous improvement
