Role Highlights: A full-time, permanent opportunity for a proactive HR professional to partner closely with operational leaders within your portfolio. Varied, visible and relationship-driven.

Organisation
This organisation is a well-established national business and part of a major international group. With operations across metro and regional Australia, it plays a critical role in supporting communities and essential services across a wide network.

Your region will include South Australia in which the business spans a range of sites and operational contexts. HR support is tailored based on local needs, creating a role rich in variety and impact. You'll lead regional HR delivery while staying connected to national peers and broader people initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager and working closely with the SA General Manager, this is a visible and hands-on role. You'll manage the full generalist remit from employee relations and coaching to workforce planning and organisational change.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR contact for SA, building strong relationships with leaders and staff
  • Support line managers with employee relations, performance, workforce planning and organisational change
  • Deliver onboarding, induction and compliance processes in partnership with leaders
  • Contribute to national projects and people initiatives alongside the wider team
  • Coach and support managers to strengthen capability and embed good HR practice
  • Manage local HR processes including policy advice, injury management and remuneration reviews
  • Provide insights and feedback to inform continuous improvement and broader HR strategy
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive and safety-focused culture

Candidate Profile
You're a capable HR professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a relationship-driven role, and brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset. You're confident providing advice, calm under pressure, and able to build credibility across a range of stakeholders.

You'll bring:

  • Generalist HR experience, including employee relations and performance support
  • The confidence to operate with autonomy while remaining closely connected to your team
  • A practical and professional approach, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Flexibility to travel regionally as needed (Approximately 3-4 day per month in SA plus ad-hoc requirements).
  • Relevant HR qualifications

    Additional Benefits
This role offers hybrid working and a supportive HR team culture. You'll be backed by national colleagues but have the freedom to make a tangible difference within your portfolio.
