Department: 166 Cloud Services
Location: Remote, Lithuania
Compensation: €4,500 - €5,500 / month
Description
At EIS, our DevOps team collaborates closely with highly talented software development professionals. The team is responsible for supporting and enhancing DevOps tools across the organization while promoting modern microservices engineering practices. DevOps work at EIS is diverse and engaging, ranging from implementing Jenkins pipelines using Groovy scripts, developing Terraform scripts, and optimizing Maven, Scala, and NPM build processes, to extending Helm charts and researching the best approaches for stable and refined DevOps practices within our product development lifecycle.
Our DevOps team manages over 20 Cloud accounts, primarily on AWS and Azure, for a wide range of customers. Our microservice platform currently operates around 100 pods in a non-scaled mode. Additionally, our typical CI/CD environment for engineering utilizes more than 250 virtual machines, requiring over 2700 vCPUs and 6.5 TB of RAM. These requirements are even more extensive in the managed public cloud environments we provide for our SaaS customers. While this level of responsibility is significant, it also brings tremendous opportunities for learning, growth, and excitement.
We are seeking smart, dynamic, and intuitive individuals to join our growing team of insurance technology professionals and industry experts. Currently, we have an opportunity for an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer.
