About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from large and complex datasets to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Your expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization will be instrumental in developing predictive models, improving processes, and driving innovation within our organization. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and eager to solve challenging problems with data-driven solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to identify opportunities for leveraging data and to implement scalable models in production environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch)
  • Expertise in data manipulation and analysis tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Spark
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn
  • Understanding of big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimental design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into business recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources, ensuring high data quality and integrity
  • Apply statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex data sets and develop predictive models
  • Evaluate model performance and refine models to enhance accuracy and robustness
  • Utilize data mining, clustering, classification, and regression techniques to generate actionable insights
  • Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key business metrics and model performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data science objectives aligned with organizational goals
  • Identify opportunities to leverage data for process improvements and strategic decision-making
  • Assist in deploying machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability and efficiency
  • Monitor and retrain models regularly to maintain optimal performance
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning techniques
  • Conduct research to explore new tools, methodologies, and innovative approaches to data analysis
