From integrated lead generation and member acquisition to member management, payment collection, workforce management, multi-location management and a customer data platform to give sports entrepreneurs exactly what they need to grow.

About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a fast paced and autonomous environment. You’ll be part of a tight-knit experienced team where your decisions matter and your code gets shipped.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives with autonomy and takes full ownership of their work. Rather than waiting for direction or continuous feedback cycles, you think critically and contribute to architectural decisions to shape the product alongside the team. We are an early stage startup, where you will have a direct impact on the product and the customer experience. 

The focus is on delivering high-quality, maintainable software that solves real peoples problems today. You’ll move fast, validate ideas early, and strike the right balance between speed and craftsmanship. Knowing when to ship a lean MVP and when to invest in long-term quality.

• Backend: PHP 8+, Laravel
• Frontend: TypeScript, Vue 3, Vite
• Mobile: React Native
• Database: PostgreSQL

• Infrastructure: AWS, Cloudflare

Responsibilities

• Architect and build flexible systems to support evolving gym workflows, including AI components to streamline operations
• Own features end-to-end, from DB schema to UI
• Build and maintain mobile applications using React Native where native experiences add value (e.g. notifications, offline usage, device integrations)
• Collaborate with product and design on user-centric features
• Code reviews, pair programming and work together to set our engineering bar
• Contribute to infrastructure and deployment pipelines as needed
• Optimize performance and maintainability across the stack

Qualifications

• You enjoy tackling real-world product complexity and want to help shape a product that actually solves user pain
• Have around 4+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience, with a strong back-end focus
• Experience with React Native or interest in building mobile apps alongside web platforms
• Write clean, modern PHP/Laravel and Vue/TypeScript
• Are comfortable making autonomous decisions
• Care about delivering value fast, while maintaining scalability
• Have an entrepreneurial & hacker mindset: speed is everything! You apply AI to enhance and accelerate your development process
• You are located in The Netherlands and are eligible to work here

Bonus if you have

• Experience with domain-driven design, event sourcing, or multi-tenant SaaS architectures
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps in AWS environments
• Contributed to open source
