Your role
- Research in the general domain of stochastic analysis, within the research group of Prof. Giovanni Peccati (Department of Mathematics (DMATH)), with special focus on stochastic geometry, such as random fields, random graphs and related structures, limit theorems, stochastic calculus and applications, for example in machine learning and mathematical statistics
- Participation in the scientific activities of the department, e.g. seminars, workshops and schools organised by the members of the department
- Contribution to the teaching mission of the Department of Mathematics, amounting to approximately 45 Teaching Units per semester
- Contribution to the outreach activities of the Department of mathematics, e.g. participation to public events open to high-school students, or to the general public
Your profile
- PhD of high quality in mathematics, with focus on stochastic analysis and related areas
- Research experience in at least one of the following topics: stochastic calculus, stochastic geometry, limit theorems, functional inequalities, and applications.
- Autonomous worker with good organisational and analytical skills
- Fluency of either English or French is required
- Multilingual and international character. Modern institution with a personal atmosphere. Staff coming from 90 countries. Member of the “University of the Greater Region” (UniGR)
