Data Analyst

We’re looking for a Data Engineer / Data Analyst to strengthen our client's engineering team. In this role, you’ll help deliver a strategic Screening platform that supports global client due diligence and financial crime prevention initiatives.

You’ll work closely with Product Owners, data and modelling teams, and technology partners to transform business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Understand stakeholder business needs and translate requirements into epics and user stories aligned with business goals
• Partner with Product Owners, Models & Methodology teams, and other stakeholders to drive technology change and resolve delivery impediments
• Apply data engineering and data analysis skills to support the global rollout of the Name and Media Screening platform
• Collaborate with data platform teams and front-office IT teams to source, integrate, and manage client data for ongoing due diligence
• Deliver insightful, data-driven analysis to support and enhance the Name and Media Screening product
• Proactively identify data issues, analyze patterns, and contribute to data quality remediation

What You Bring

• Proven experience working in a fully Agile, global environment
• Strong background in business and data requirements gathering, grooming, and translating them into cost-effective technology solutions
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and synthesis skills
• Solid data engineering expertise, including understanding of relational and non-relational databases
• Ability to write database queries (experience with Oracle and/or MongoDB is a plus)
• Comfort working in a Linux-based environment, including bash/shell scripting
• Python scripting experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of data models, data relationships, and data quality analysis
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and tools such as Databricks or Denodo is beneficial
• A highly motivated, collaborative team player with strong communication skills
