DevOps Engineer (12-Month Contract)

We are partnered with an established financial institution to look for a DevOps Engineer to support platform modernisation and cloud-native adoption across global engineering teams.

This is a 12-month contract role, based in Singapore, under an external agency payroll.

You will work closely with engineering, platform, and operations teams to drive standardisation, automation, and the onboarding of applications onto common cloud and observability platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive standardisation and automation across engineering platforms

• Support onboarding of applications to a cloud-native stack

• Enable teams to adopt shared platforms, including observability frameworks

• Maintain and support common DevOps and platform tooling

• Promote strong engineering practices and an automation-first mindset

• Support the operation of critical, business-critical systems at scale

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience

• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation

• Solid Linux and scripting background

• Proven experience deploying and operating Kubernetes-based platforms

• Experience with Azure cloud services

• Prior development experience in at least one mainstream language

• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed architectures

• Experience defining non-functional requirements and documenting designs

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring best practices
