DevOps Lead

Metric Bio is currently partnered with an innovative AI healthcare company developing advanced breast imaging solutions used by radiologists worldwide. Their technology supports earlier cancer detection, more personalised care pathways, and improved outcomes for patients globally.

On behalf of our client, we are hiring a DevOps Lead to own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production operations, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across mission-critical platforms.

As DevOps Lead, you will play a key role within our client’s engineering organisation. Working closely with software engineering, QA, and infrastructure teams, you will enable efficient, secure, and reliable software delivery while maintaining stable production systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and evolving the cloud deployment strategy and infrastructure
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Overseeing production operations to ensure uptime, performance, and stability
• Implementing and improving security best practices across infrastructure and deployments
• Scaling platforms to support product and customer growth
• Collaborating with engineering teams to streamline workflows and automation
• Driving incident response, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring within the DevOps and Infrastructure domain

Required experience:

• A strong background in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS preferred)
• Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience operating and monitoring production systems, including logging, alerting, and incident response
• Familiarity with cloud and production security best practices
• Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring other engineers
