Data developer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Fivetran-based ingestion pipelines for multiple data sources.
• Develop and optimize ETL workflows, including transformations and data quality checks.
• Write efficient Python scripts for data processing, automation, and custom ETL logic.
• Troubleshoot ingestion failures, data mapping issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Work closely with analytics, BI, and platform teams to deliver clean, harmonized data.
• Implement best practices for logging, monitoring, and pipeline governance.
• Support continuous improvements in data processes and architecture.

Required Skillset

• Strong hands-on experience with Fivetran connectors, schema handling, and sync management.
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and transformation logic.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, logging, error handling, file processing).
• Experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift/Azure DW).
• Knowledge of SQL for debugging and validating ingested data.
• Ability to analyze data issues and propose scalable solutions.
