Job Title: Junior Python Developer (Freelance)

Contract Type: Freelance contract – 6 to 12 months + extension

Daily rate: Negotiable

Location: Milan, Italy – Hybrid working model (1–2 days per week on-site)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

We are currently supporting an international technology company undergoing a significant digital transformation. They are looking for a Junior Python Developer to join their digital transformation team. The role is split equally between internal projects (50%) and client-facing projects (50%), with a strong focus on automation, system integrations, and innovative digital solutions.

This position offers a clear growth path toward full-stack development, making it ideal for a junior developer eager to expand their technical skill set in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage automation workflows using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online)
• Build Python scripts and microservices for integrations, automation, and service orchestration
• Create, customize, and maintain WordPress solutions (landing pages, CMS configuration, customizations)
• Integrate external APIs and develop custom connectors
• Experiment with generative AI solutions and AI–user interface integrations
• Support Power BI dashboards, including data transformation using Power Query and basic DAX

Key Requirements

• Background in automation environments (workflow, process automation, or marketing automation)
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including:
• Power Automate (flow creation, HTTP connectors, integrations)
• SharePoint Online (lists, permissions, metadata management)
• Power BI (basic level)
• Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation purposes
• Experience with WordPress CMS development and customization
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and OAuth2 authentication
• Strong interest in developing expertise in shared platforms, automation, and AI technologies
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
