We are looking for a passionate Data protection & privacy consultant that want to be part of our team.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Inform, advise and issue recommendations to the Company's clients regarding compliance with data protection laws including GDPR, and Company policies and guidelines with respect to data protection;
- Identification of business processes and systems that relate to personal data and are deemed in-scope for GDPR.
- Analyzes and verifies the conformity of personal data processing operations;
- Review commercial agreements and contracts, including Data Processing Agreements with data processors;
- Manage escalated queries from all parts of the business, bringing them to resolution by developing effective solutions;
- Develop and roll out a program of staff awareness training to achieve compliance and foster a culture of data privacy within the organization;
- Develop communications strategy in line with company’s strategy to engage with the key stakeholders
- Completing and updating ROPA's
- Participates actively in conducting DPIA
- Conduct risk assessments for high-risk processing in connection with GDPR requirements, including data security, security breach notifications, privacy by design, legitimate interest, purpose limitation and fair processing;
- Represent the company in dealing with Data Protection matters, including complaints
- and data breach notifications;
- Track and maintain a log of all incidents, complaints, data breaches and notifications;
- Promote data security police within the company and provide advice on new projects or business
- Identification of business processes and systems that relate to personal data and are deemed in-scope for GDPR
- Conduct audits/ GAP assessment on Data protection compliance
- Promote data protection principles within the company and provide advice for new projects or business, aligned with business priorities
What we’re looking for:
- Completed legal studies/or technical studies
- Relevant experience in the position of data protection officer / compliance officer/ IT risk officer/ at least 3 year (cumulated for the previously mentioned functions);
- Ability to ensure compliance
- Relevant certifications (CISM, CISSP, CIPP/E, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or similar) are a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of personal data protection legislation
- Knowledge a new technologies and applied informatics;
- English speaker;
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail;
- Ambition and desire to assert oneself through performance;
- Willingness to learn continuously
- Positive attitude and orientation towards the client (to have charisma)
- Ability to synthesize, observe, organize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to have flexibility of the schedule, with orientation of the client’s needed
