• Responsibilities:
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, through a clear understanding of the aim of each ceremony, taking corrective measures as required to ensure they are effective.
• Help the agile team to continuously improve the effectiveness of their incremental delivery by monitoring agile team metrics including velocity, Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)
• Identify inefficiencies in agile team operation and remove impediments to the agile team's progress.
• Advise, facilitate, mentor and coach agile team members and stakeholders.
• Understand the context of teams supported including strategic targets, delivery targets, structure, agile framework(s), constraints, team-dynamics, mindsets, human nature and technical considerations.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and agile team to ensure a healthy prioritized product backlog.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to continuously improve the agile process.
• Mandatory Skills Description:
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting software engineering teams.
• Background in software development engineering.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices.
• Practical experience working with engineering teams in Agile or scaled Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
• Familiarity with software development practices, testing, code reviews.
• Ability to understand technical discussions and effectively bridge communication between engineering teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience facilitating collaboration between development, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to identify delivery bottlenecks and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to track and improve Agile metrics.
• Experience working in a global, multicultural environment.
• Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
• Experience in financial sector.
• Certifications in any of the following is a plus: PSM, SAFe, PMI, ICP.
