Our client, a prestigious Financial Institution in Switzerland, is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to support a large, multi‑workstream AI transformation programme. This is a hands‑on delivery role where you will drive governance, planning, reporting, and risk management while ensuring strong coordination across business, data, technology, and change teams. You will play a central role in stabilising and maturing PMO operations during a key transition phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan & Coordinate

  • Maintain and continuously update the integrated master programme plan across all workstreams.
  • Manage dependencies and ensure alignment across business, technology, data, and operating model areas.
  • Embed PMO standards, templates, cadence, and reporting routines across the programme.
  • Ensure the PMO functions as the single source of truth for programme data, actions, and status.

Lead Execution

  • Serve as the operational PMO lead in daily check‑ins, steering preparations, and delivery cycles.
  • Track workstream progress, surface risks early, and support re-planning where needed.
  • Prepare high-quality governance materials for executive and steering forums.
  • Ensure strong delivery discipline and effective decision support across the programme

Drive Improvement

  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and bottlenecks across workstream inputs and reporting.
  • Strengthen the programme’s governance structure and improve PMO processes as the programme matures.
  • Support continuous improvements in planning, reporting, and risk management practices.
  • Work closely with business, data, and technology stakeholders to refine ways of working

Engage Stakeholders

  • Build trusted relationships with Programme Directors, Workstream Leads, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Act as a constructive challenger to ensure quality, clarity, and alignment.
  • Translate complex programme information into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Provide concise and actionable updates on risks, issues, dependencies, and progress.

Must haves:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong PMO and project/programme management capabilities with disciplined governance.
  • Proven experience working in large, multi-workstream transformation programmes.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven or rapidly evolving change environments is an advantage.
  • Very strong PowerPoint and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance or reinsurance operating models, processes, and terminology.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PMO, programme delivery, or change roles.
