Business Analyst / Data Analyst SQL

The Nordwand Group is currently looking for a Business Analyst / Data Analyst with SQL to validate, query and manually map data sources to ensure the data is accurate and actionable for use by the development teams.

The Profile required

• Between 3 and 6 years experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data
• Excellent data / database skills
• Fluent English

Job Goals

• Translate high level requirements into actionable tasks for the development team.
• Conduct analysis work to answer ah-hoc questions from the team and internal clients.
• Define and build data quality checks and reports that support fast identification of potential errors or gaps in the model.
• Act as a first level testing by understanding in detail what drives every change in numbers following updating mapping files or other source data

Responsibilities

• Gathering requirements, documenting processes etc
• Manual mapping of data sources, ensuring accurate classification and transformation of information
• Review, validate, and reconcile factors to ensure they align with industry standards and best practices.
• Investigating discrepancies and making adjustments as needed.
• Write and execute queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases, ensuring it meets required standards and is ready for reporting and analysis.
• Perform data validation tasks to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of data.
• Preparation of reports and dashboards, providing insights on trends, validation findings, and improvements to be made.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams
