Job Title: Global Procurement Analyst

Position Summary

The Global Procurement Analyst will play a key role in supporting the procurement team by managing data, analysing trends and administering agreements. This position focuses on driving efficiencies, improving supplier relations and identifying opportunities to maximise cost reduction and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities include data reporting, supplier communication, file maintenance and insightful analysis.


Essential Job Functions

  • Analyse trends and internal metrics, such as purchasing patterns, pricing impacts and supplier performance. Develop bid summaries and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Use financial analysis tools such as BI or external data insight systems to produce regular and ad hoc reports on categories or suppliers.
  • Prepare detailed reports by collecting, formatting, analysing and summarising relevant information.
  • Maintain accurate and organised electronic records for supplier agreements and communications, ensuring proper contract handling and procurement processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy by coordinating with internal business units, updating changes and participating in reviews.
  • Build strong communication channels with suppliers through face-to-face meetings, phone conversations and technical exchanges.
  • Participate in benchmarking sessions by preparing data and facilitating internal communications.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Global Procurement as needed.
  • Contribute to identifying and implementing process improvements in line with organisational growth.


Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • An associate's or bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in procurement or analytics within food or FMCG industries is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems such as Ariba is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English.
