Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for civil infrastructure components, including roads, drainage, water supply, wastewater, and utility networks for coastal and marine projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and design reports in accordance with relevant standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including marine, structural, geotechnical, and environmental engineers, to deliver integrated and constructible infrastructure solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct or assist with hydraulic modeling and stormwater management design to optimize drainage and mitigate flood risks.
• Ensure all infrastructure designs comply with environmental regulations and best practices for coastal resilience.
• Review engineering deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Manage project documentation, including drawings, calculation notes, and technical reports, ensuring version control and adherence to QA/QC procedures.
• Provide technical support during construction, including responding to RFIs, reviewing contractor submittals, and participating in site inspections.
• Ensure infrastructure works are executed in accordance with design specifications and project requirements.
• Support the preparation of permit applications and coordinate with regulatory agencies to comply with local and international codes and standards.
• Identify potential design and construction risks related to infrastructure and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, materials, and sustainable practices in civil infrastructure design for coastal environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s Degree is a plus in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the design and construction of large marine infrastructure
