For a SaaS customer in Brussels, I am searching for a freelance DevOps Engineer to streamline their development process and improve the reliability of their software.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Automate their infrastructure utilities using Dell/ESX/vSphere/pfSense
- Working with the development team to ensure a smooth implementation & troubleshoot where necessary
- Optimize deployment processes to ensure faster and more reliable releases
- Contributing to security within our deployment process
Profile
- Proven experience in production infrastructure exposure
- Good scripting and knowledge of Linux (CentOS)
- Exposure to DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes (RKE2/Rancher), Jenkins, Ansible, Graylog, Prometheus, Grafana etc.
- Operational understanding of programming languages such as Java and Python to help contribute to their software development
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Route53), which enables you to efficiently manage and optimize infrastructures
- You can manage hardware and are able to solve problems quickly and effectively
- You have a deep understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, which helps you work smoothly with development teams.
