Detailed Job Description:
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in coding and testing applications
• Experience working with NodeJS, Express JS and UI/UX automation with Cypress or Selenium, multi-browser testing
• Experience working with API automation with Java and Javascript based frameworks -JS Jasmine, TestNg or JUnit.
• Hands-on experience in test planning, test scenarios creation, test data creation and executing test cases based on the business scenarios
• Ability to understand complex enterprise level systems, various integration points, decent understanding of all networking layers, good understanding of software development lifecycle and processes
• Working experience testing web applications, Rest APIs, Java, JavaScript, shell scripting and RDBMS
• Strong communication
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.
• Working experience debugging and troubleshooting containerized microservices
• Experience with Gatling or JMeter
• Experience with Kakfa and Hazelcast is a plus
• Working experience testing ETL, batch processes using Clover.
Engagement Deliverable(s):
• Develop tests for UI and REST API based components testing, backend microservices, databases and microservices testing.
• Develop functional, regression, performance and E2E tests for REST based APIs, UI, batch jobs and databases
• Develop automated test code on JavaScript and Java based automation frameworks - Cypress for UI, JS Jasmine and Java Unit tests for backend services
• Write and execute detailed test plans, test design & test cases covering feature, integration, regression, certification, system level testing.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting in Linux containers running on Kubernetes
