Senior Product Manager - Game Economy & Monetization

We are looking for a passionate Senior Product Manager who will focus on game economy and monetization at our studio. You will work in a cross-functional and dynamic team and take ownership of the core economic vision of the game.

This role owns the core economic vision of the game and plays a critical part in shaping long-term player value, Live Ops performance, and revenue sustainability. You will work closely with product, data, tech, and Live Ops teams, acting as the main decision-maker for economy-related systems and initiatives.

Responsibilities

Economy Strategy & Ownership

• Defining and owning the high-level game economy strategy, including currencies, progression pacing, sinks/sources, and economy guardrails.
• Ensuring the long-term health and sustainability of the economy across all features and Live Ops content.
• Identifying economic risks (inflation, bottlenecks, imbalance) and proactively proposing solutions.
  
  

Rewards & Progression Design

• Owning the design principles behind event rewards, progression rewards, and reward pacing.
• Evaluating the economy and behavioral impact of rewards using data and player insights.
• Aligning reward systems with player motivation, engagement loops, and business goals.
  
  

Monetization Strategy

• Identifying key monetization moments within the player journey and event flows.
• Designing and refining monetization hooks that feel natural and player-friendly.
• Owning offer design, including content composition, value balance, and segmentation logic.
• Defining pricing strategy, value perception, and regional pricing frameworks.
  
  

Experimentation & Optimization

• Owning the experiment roadmap for economy and monetization.
• Designing, running, and evaluating A/B tests to improve monetization and retention performance.
• Translating experiment results into clear strategic decisions and long-term improvements.
  
  

Live Ops & Tooling Leadership

• Leading the integration and effective usage of admin panels, Live Ops tools, and backend systems.
• Acting as the main economy authority supporting Live Ops configurations, tuning, and decision-making.
• Collaborating with engineering to improve tools and workflows when needed
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Game Economy Design, or Monetization in the gaming industry.
• Proven ownership of F2P game economies and monetization systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in data analysis, KPIs, and experiments.
• Deep understanding of Live Ops-driven games and event-based monetization.
• Ability to make high-impact decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in Lead or Principal roles.
• Strong background in mobile F2P games.
• Experience with economy simulations, balancing models, or forecasting.
• Hands-on knowledge of analytics tools (SQL, Looker, etc.).
• Experience with or strong interest in coin looter-style game genres
