Software Engineer (PHP)

About the Company

Saldo Bank UAB is a specialised bank licensed by the European Central Bank and regulated by the Bank of Lithuania. Saldo Bank offers fully automated lending solutions for consumers and SME customers and term deposit account services for consumer customers. The company's advanced scoring system ensures responsible lending, and its own lending system supports business growth also internationally.

What will you do

• Develop FinTech platform by using latest technologies and libraries in PHP ecosystem,
• Write reusable, testable, and superior quality code which is reviewed by peers,
• Optimize platform's performance and scalability,
• Collaborate with your team to achieve best architectural decisions.

What we expect

• At least 2 years’ experience of development with PHP or any other OOP language,
• OOP skills and awareness of modern development principles and practices,
• Creative way of thinking and courage to try out new things,
• Excellent English skills,
• Open-minded and co-operative personality.

What we consider as an asset

• Experience with CI / CD, Docker, Git or any other DevOps tools and practices,
• Previous experience developing banking software, lending software or work experience in regulatory or Fintech company,
• University degree in software engineering or similar.

The salary range for this position is 3300 - 5000 EUR (gross) per month depending on the seniority level.
