Role Overview:

HHSC is seeking a Network Security Analyst 1 to protect and monitor its information systems and networks. The role involves identifying vulnerabilities, investigating security incidents, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and supporting network security architecture. The candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools
• Monitor networks, logs, and alerts for threats
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Evaluate cybersecurity controls and implement risk reduction plans
• Develop documentation, reports, and stakeholder communications
• Assist in network security architecture and project management tasks
