Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

We are partnered with an established financial services firm to look for a Senior Software Engineer for Backend technologies.

You join as a senior engineer with strong backend depth and full stack awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Build and evolve backend services using Java and modern frameworks
• Design workflow-driven systems that support complex business processes
• Expose clean, reliable APIs consumed across the organisation
• Support production systems and resolve issues end to end
• Improve delivery through automation, testing, and CI/CD

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in Java and Sprint Boot
• Solid relational database and SQL skills
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Practical experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Comfortable with Git-based collaboration and code reviews
