Junior Global Product Developer

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Global Product Developer to join our Global Product Development team at our EMEA HQ in Stabio, reporting directly to the Senior Manager Product Development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support Product Development in the realization of assigned styles, from design to final product, leveraging technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Participate in handover meetings with the design team, proactively offering suggestions for improved construction, aesthetics, and manufacturing processes.
  • Create and update for each product the Technical Pack (including sketches, artworks, etc.) and Bill of Material (BOM) during prototype, SMS, and bulk production phases.
  • Coordinate the delivery of prototypes, SMS, and PPS according to the brand calendar, collaborating with regional sourcing teams.
  • Provide guidance to achieve cost targets, ensuring alignment between style details and construction techniques.
  • Plan and track the development schedule of all products to ensure timely completion.
  • Receive, evaluate, and manage samples, implementing changes agreed during reviews and fitting sessions.
  • Approve strike offs, mock-ups, and graphics when requested.
  • Maintain constant communication with regional offices and buying offices to ensure a correct and timely product outcome.
  • Support fitting sessions together with Product Development, designers, and pattern makers, ensuring execution of fit intent and fit standards.
  • Interact with all brand departments, raw material sourcing, pattern makers, design, factories/vendors, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Proactively promote sustainable solutions.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in product development within a medium or large-sized apparel company.
  • Basic knowledge of garment construction.
  • Basic understanding of product categories, materials, manufacturing processes, and product development lifecycle.
  • Ability to build trust and work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong desire to learn and curiosity for product and innovation.
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Deadline-driven and organized mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, PLM systems, and 3D CADs.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
  • A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design (Apparel), Engineering, or Manufacturing is preferred, but we value your overall experience and professional achievements most.
