Senior Frontend Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for a contract position in Toronto, ON (Onsite). Ideally, looking for hands-on development experience using Agile methodologies, React with TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js, along with experience building and testing RESTful APIs. Strong knowledge of Jamstack architecture, responsive design, front-end testing, debugging, and performance optimisation is required; preference would be someone with the required skills and experience, particularly in large organizations.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with the React framework and TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js and Next.js
• Experience building and testing RESTful APIs
• Working knowledge of Jamstack Architecture
• Must have current/hands-on Development exp.
• Hands-on experience with responsive design, front-end testing and debugging techniques, page load optimization and version control
• Experience working within a large organization / big teams
