Test Engineer

Permanent contract with our client / 80%-100%

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated embedded testing within agile teams
• Develop and maintain test automation (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Create test data, simulate test environments, and support tool/framework selection
• Identify and document defects and analyze test results to drive quality improvements
• Contribute to test strategies and continuous QA practices

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Several years of QA/testing experience in agile environments as an embedded tester
• Strong automation and programming skills (Java, Python)
• Experience with CI/CD and test management tools (JIRA, Xray, Azure DevOps)
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, proactive, and communicative
• Fluent in German and English (min. B2)
• Swiss project experience; public sector preferred
• Bonus: AI/GenAI testing experience
