Role Overview:
As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of the BECRIS applicationa critical tool supporting compliance with AnaCredit regulations and Belgian credit reporting laws. Working alongside a talented team, you will handle both enhancement projects and maintenance tasks for this advanced credit registry system.
Responsibilities
- Development: Design and develop application components, including RESTful and SOAP endpoints, using advanced Java frameworks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical lead to design application components and mentor team members.
- Documentation: Write and maintain technical documentation to ensure clear communication and compliance.
- Problem Solving: Address technical challenges independently, contributing to project success.
Technical Expertise
- Programming & Frameworks: Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Batch, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Database Knowledge: Extensive experience with Oracle Database (SQL, stored procedures).
- Security Expertise: Advanced knowledge of OWASP and Spring Security.
- Development Tools: Proficiency with IntelliJ, SVN/Git, Maven, Bamboo, and Sonar.
- Web Services: Intermediate skills in designing RESTful and SOAP endpoints (JAX-WS, JAX-RS, JAXB).
- Experience in application design (RESTful endpoints, versioning, metadata).
- Familiarity with Apache CXF, Apache Camel, and development practices using JUnit and Spring CI.
- Dutch or French: Native or bilingual proficiency (ability to read/write technical documentation).
- English: Professional working proficiency (writing and documentation).
- A team player who is communicative and eager to learn.
- Capable of coaching other developers and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Adaptable to dynamic project requirements with strong problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- At least 2 years of experience coaching developers.
- Experience in documentation practices, including BPMN and UML.
- Background in the financial/banking sector is a strong advantage.
