Data Analyst – Power BI & SQL

Location: Toronto
Role: Data Analyst with strong technical and communication skills.
This role involves working closely with business leads and executives to translate data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in SQL, relational databases, and experience with Business Intelligence tools, preferably Power BI.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI preferred).
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Present findings and insights clearly to non-technical audiences, including executives.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.

Ideal Candidate Traits
• Strong SQL capabilities with at least 5 years of experience (query writing, optimization, troubleshooting).
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehouses.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and executive presentations.
• Experience as a BI Developer, ideally with Power BI.
