Kafka DevOps Engineer

EXPERIS IT Luxembourg is looking for a Kafka/DevOps Engineer to support and secure application and messaging platforms within a large international environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Administer and support Apache Kafka platforms and related architectures (RBAC, security).
• Manage Tomcat / Apache environments and support other middleware platforms (WAS, JBoss, IIS).
• Ensure SSL/TLS management and secure application communications.
• Automate deployments and configurations using Ansible.
• Act as a technical mentor and collaborate with application teams, clients, and managers.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to operational best practices.

Your Profile

• Strong experience with Apache Kafka and middleware architectures
• Solid knowledge of Tomcat / Apache, SSL, RBAC, and Ansible
• Basic knowledge of Git; experience with Nexus, VTOM, WAS, JBoss, IIS is a plus.
• Experience on Red Hat environments (Power Systems is an asset).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in an international team.
• Fluent in French and English; Spanish is a plus.
