Role Description

This role is for a Junior Data Analyst who supports data-driven decision-making by assisting with data collection, preparation, analysis, and reporting activities across multiple business functions. In this position, you will work with structured datasets to help transform raw data into accurate, meaningful insights that support operational efficiency, performance measurement, and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities include collecting data from internal systems, spreadsheets, databases, and reports, then cleaning, validating, and organizing the data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability. You will assist in maintaining datasets, identifying data quality issues, and applying standardized processes to ensure high-quality analytical outputs.

You will support the analysis of key performance indicators, trends, and variances, helping identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Under the guidance of senior analysts, you will contribute to analytical projects by preparing calculations, summaries, and structured data reviews that inform business decisions.

You will also assist in creating reports, dashboards, and basic data visualizations that communicate insights clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders. Documenting methodologies, assumptions, and data sources is an important aspect of the role to ensure transparency and repeatability.

This role requires strong attention to detail, logical reasoning, and a willingness to learn. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business questions, translate requirements into analytical tasks, and support data-informed decision-making. Clear communication and the ability to explain findings in a structured, easy-to-understand manner are essential.

By maintaining data accuracy and supporting reporting processes, the Junior Data Analyst plays a key role in enabling teams to rely on consistent, timely, and trustworthy data for everyday operations and strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and analytical methods
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members
  • Educational background in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred
