Software Engineer I

Overview

We are searching for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our frontend

engineering team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and

maintaining end-to-end Marketplace experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

• You take pride in creating Front End magic
• Deep customer empathy and ability to quickly translate insights into mockups,
  
  

wireframes, and working proof-of-concept code

• Expertise in the successful delivery of high quality web application code
  
  

(requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)

• Contribute to overall site stability, including code reviews, writing unit and
  
  

integration tests

Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications
• 3+ years experience with JavaScript and React
• 3+ years experience in the Software design/architecture process
• Strong experience with HTML and CSS
• Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical
  
  

issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)perience:
• Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer
  
  

facing web or mobile applications

• Experience with various, modern web frameworks
