About the Role

As a Frontend Developer at Froda, you will be a key member of a cross-functional product team with developers, designers and a product manager. Together, you will develop our product offerings and create a world-class financing experience for SMEs across Europe. In addition, you will collaborate with other product teams as well as marketing, growth/commercial and external partners.

In this role, you will work with the latest frontend technologies and help us build products using up-to-date frameworks and methodologies. You will make use of modern standards in API integrations and optimize performance and errors handling. You will also ensure that we deliver the best possible experience for our customers.

Who Are You?

You are a curious and proactive developer who thrives in a team of forward-thinking and open-minded colleagues. You communicate effortlessly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in English and Swedish is required for this role.

We believe you have:

• At least 3 years experience as a Frontend developer or similar role using best practices within Frontend technologies.
• Worked extensively with TypeScript, with a strong focus on building modern React applications (v18+). You should be proficient in using current best practices, including functional components with Hooks, advanced state management with context, modular component based design.
• Solid experience with HTML and advanced CSS techniques, including responsive design and Tailwind or similar.
• A robust approach to API integrations and error handling that goes beyond basic implementation. Experience in creating resilient, production-ready code that adheres to strict specifications is essential. Experience working with a BFF is a plus.
• Proven experience with agile methodologies and a solid foundation in software engineering best practices.
• A positive attitude about using AI for development, where you are expected to iteratively figure out how to best make use of it in your daily work together with your colleagues.
• Bonus: Experience with monorepo architecture and optimizing web application performance.
